First things first!

Pokemon!
Pokemon; they're everywhere!!

The first time I saw them was in Austin. The game came out when we were over there and I didn't pay much attention because I obviously didn't know how it worked...

BTW, Austin was great but frustrating but my dogs behaved so well!

...even still, when we were at the Alamo Drafthouse, a Pidgey appeared then a Venonat on the street and I couldn't help but laugh. It was silly!

When I got back home, Erik invited me to go out with his friends and Kristy to go Pokemon hunting. I just went with it. I followed them around as they walked around Fireman's park, then the convention center, where it was SO packed with people all playing Pokemon Go! It felt so silly and I literally laughed as I walked around catching Pokemon on my phone and everyone else around me did the same thing. We were all in the same club or whatever. I couldn't help but feel some glee.

In Austin, Doug and I DID get to take our engagement photos!
It was a little hot and it didn't quite work out on the intended day cause of issues but we did them the following day with Shannon from Captivating Weddings. He was such a swell dude; a servant of God, a special guy. I watched and listened as he and Doug spoke to each other and observed as he became more interested in how Doug spoke to him. He told us that Doug has spoken truth into his life and that he knew that Doug was a very special guy too. Obviously, I know this fact already but it's sweet to hear it from someone else. Like one of those proud moments, you know?

Right now, I just got home from visiting at Ham's. Like always, Adam, Shoes and Nessypoo were there. Like always, right before I leave, we watch creepy videos.
Today:
* 8:30 am- took my TExES ec-6 certification exam
*1:09  pm- is when I was back in my car and done with that long wretched test
*2:00 pm- work
*9:45 pm- out
blah blah blah..i'm home at 12:15 am and Jake inside and happily greets me and I am pleased.

By the wayyyyy...
Doug and I went to Kingsville yesterday.
What a rinky dink, tiny town!! z0mg.
I looked up Starbucks so Doug could drop me off there while he went and did his interview but nothing close came up. Closest one was like 45 mins away.
So Blue Ribbon Cafe and Coffee shop would do!
I sat there and studied and watched OITNB for 3 hours. It felt like an eternity.
It was initially great because I ordered a super delicious iced coffee and a warm chocolate muffin and I got wirey from the coffee but then I got restless and the whole shop emptied out and I saw people leave their shifts and new people come in for their shifts.

He eventually picked me up. He had dropped me off at 12:56pm and picked me up at around 3pm-ish. Doug sounded pretty confident about his interview. I was glad and tried my best to be supportive but I feel like I always fall short because I've been trying to be supportive for over a year with nothing to show for it. I know that sounds rude and mean, but that's just how I feel.
We went to get Arby's. (Yay, they have an Arby's!!!)
We went to their tiny, historic downtown. Caught some pokemon, rested at Pokestops. Attacked and won against our first gym!

We took off for home around 6:30 pm. On the road to Edinburg, Doug realized he had a missed call. It was none other than Ms. Williams, the principal of Kingsville's Memorial Middle school, calling to tell him that he was unofficially hired!
She told him that she wasn't supposed to be telling him because HR still had to go thru his paperwork but she didn't want him to take a job somewhere else so she had to tell him!

WOW. Doug and I were both shocked. We literally drove for a few seconds with our mouths open. Then we laughed.
Wow, I literally have not felt so many emotions at once...and strong ones too.
I proceeded to feel elation then shock, then happy again then sadness. It was strange!!
At work today, I was excited at the prospect again; Doug and I, in our own place, with Jakey boy and Bird.
But alas, God has the last word...and that's totally fine by me.
